  • Q. What is the requisite amount of umbrella liability insurance as there is a discrepancy between section 3.1.8 and Attachment "L": Certificate of Insurance?
    A. Section 3.1.8 should read in pertinent part as follows: Umbrella liability insurance shall not be less than $1,000,000 each occurrence and $3,000,000 aggregate. Professional liability insurance shall have limits of not less than $3,000,000 each claim and aggregate.
  • Q: Do you want us to include a Civil Engineer? It looks like you have one on staff. Is that something you keep in-house?
    A: Yes, include a Civil Engineer. We do not have one in-house.
  • Q: What is the project budget for construction?
    A: There is currently no budget.
  • Q: When would the Fire District like to have this project completed, move-in ready?
    A: There is currently no deadline, but as soon as possible.
  • Q: How many bays does the Fire District wish to have in the design?
    A: We wish to have 4 bays in the design.
  • Q: How many personnel will utilize the station at any given time?
    A: Minimum of 6.
  • Q: Will this Fire Station house EMS personnel and equipment?
    A: No.
  • Q: Will this Fire Station be a hurricane shelter?
    A: Must meet the requirements of a Risk Category IV Building.
  • Q: Does the Billboard Advertisement Have to Stay on the Property?
    A: Issue is currently being addressed.
