Our Commissioners
The North Fort Myers Fire District is governed by a Board of Fire Commissioners. The board consists of five individuals who are elected by those who live in the fire district. Each commissioner serves a four year term.
Our commission meetings are held on the third Monday of each month at 5:05pm at 42 Willis Rd., North Fort Myers, the only exceptions are during January and February when they are held on the fourth Monday, due to Federal holidays. The public is welcome to all our meetings.
The role of our Commissioners is to oversee the management of the fire district. To oversee all fiscal matters, including the adoption of the annual budget. They also play a strong role in future planning of the district, with respect to anticipated growth trends.
